Giving Hope To Turkey gives grants to organisations in Türkiye to fund projects that advance the Christian faith and support people experiencing poverty, displacement, or hardship.

Through these organisations we are currently supporting a number of church leaders across Türkiye. They know the spiritual and cultural context better than anyone. By supporting local leaders and churches we empower those best placed to share the love of Christ in ways that make the most difference.

We are currently at capacity for financial aid, but please do get in touch for prayer support.

Maria (Gökçe) & Ata

Maria and Ata had to suffer through the devastation of the recent earthquake in Turkey. This caused the survival of both their lives and faiths to be tested greatly.

Through this trial, however, their spirit was emboldened and they have found themselves more passionate than ever.

Mehmet & Berivan

Mehmet and Berivan are working to educate and train a new generation of believers.

They are hoping that through their work they can see revival in Turkey and that, just as it was in the days of the early apostles, the church will flourish

Ali and Nergiz

Ali and Nergiz are supporting their church through their musical talents and biblical training. They hope their youth ministry will work to shape a new generation of Christians in Turkey

Sevket & Bilge

Sevket and Bilge are passionate Christians who are keen to use their gifts for the Lord. Their family has struggled with health concerns and so they appreciate prayer support.

Their vision is to see churches planted across all Turkey and especially the shores of the Black Sea.

Abdullah & Sevil

Abdullah and Sevil Şahin live in Konya, alongside their three children. Abdullah is a pastor, Early Christian historian, author, and teacher, while Sevil is a fashion designer who serves the church through encouragement, prayer ministry, and baptism classes for women. Together, they are committed to strengthening and supporting the local church in Konya.

Ioanna and Simon

Ioanna and her husband, Sedat Simon, have recently begun serving a thriving church in the Muğla region of southern Türkiye.

Alongside this, they lead media ministry - helping people connect who may not be able to attend church in person or who don’t yet feel safe exploring faith openly.

Since the devastating earthquake in 2023, they have also been learning how to serve in areas affected by earthquakes and other natural disasters to offer both spiritual and practical support in times of crisis.

David

David lives in Van with his wife and two children. He actively serves the church as a full time pastor, leads youth ministry and teaches at a theological school.

He has a vision of seeing churches planted throughout Eastern Türkiye and travels to spread the Good News and help build new communities of faith.
